Guess who's bizzack

Whatup world. So it's been a HOT minute. If you're not too lazy to scroll down, you'll see that your boy Johnson's last post was on 1/20, when all I had to worry about was who was going to the Super Bowl (both of my picks were right, of course). Since then, almost a lifetime's worth of noteworthy events have circulated through the Johnson Universe. What's ironic is that while so much happened that was worth writing about, those same events were a large part of why I've been distracted from my ultimate purpose in life, which is educating you fools here at my little studio apartment in Virtual City. In the sports world, there was a monumental upset, a sensational overtime finish, a captivating playoff race/MVP debate/playoff drama, and two months worth of surprises. In the hip hop world, there's been more of the same: a lot of Weezy, a lot of Kanyeezy, a lot of T-Autotune and a lot of hype over high school kids Chris Brown and "Sold You" Boy. In the TV world, theres been a fantastic final season to one of the greatest, most underrated shows in the history of the genre. In the political world, the weaker party's primary has been one roller coaster of a media wet dream. In the personal world, there's been a lot of grinding, a lot of goofing off, and a little bit of graduating.

Quite frankly (no Stephen A. Smith), I don't know where to start. Now that I'm back in The Greatest City of America, I spend a fair amount of my time keeping tabs on the suprisingly compelling enigma known as the 2008 Baltimore Orioles, so expect some posting/venting/ranting/childish fantacizing about the future. I've also been carefully following the NBA Playoffs through the Conference Finals (which are now a game or two from being over), so expect some game-to-game predictions and analysis for that. Also, look forward some pathetically emo-sentimental posts about "the best four years of my life", and how they are over now. I'm not above shameless Hillary-bashing either, especially not after hearing her admit that she's plotting an assassination.

So move my link back to the top of your bookmarks or favorites, and meet me back here in about 24 hours.
